The best part of Fortune Star is their buffet on Sundays. Every Sunday they serve the traditional Chinese food as their Sunday special buffet. As a Chinese myself, I have to say it's the best. You even get free soy milk with it, nothing can go wrong with soy milk. I also like to visit them during the week as their Chinese American food actually tastes pretty decent as well. I don't normally order the take out, but if you like noodles, I'd suggest the seafood noodle soup. You can feed 2 people with it and still have some leftover. The best part, it's pretty cheap. Before I moved out of Kansas, I loved coming in here and had some of their traditional Chinese dishes. For people who want to try the real traditional Chinese food, this is a good place to go (don''t forget to ask for their traditional menu). I recommand their Dry fried wide noodle with beef, that's my favorite dish. It's enough for 2 people. There are many other dishes on the menu are also very tasty, you just need to give it a try. Being on a business trip in this area, I checked for Chinese restaurants near to the hotel - and this one got one raving review. So I thought it won't be all bad. Well it wasn't. It wasn't anything special. Just a pretty standard restaurant - average to below average food. When I got there on a Thursday evening it was pretty deserted - not a good sign. They seemed to make some more money off a delivery/take-away business. I decided to go for a vegetarian dish - as there were not a lot of punters around this seemed to be the best option. We went there expecting it to be a buffet based on what we read here, but there did not appear to be a buffet. However, the food we ordered was excellent....

Pretty average as buffets go....but then again it was after 8pm upon arrival...and things had been sitting out awhile. I really liked the spicy chicken....
